PTVFD begins the First Responder Program!
Now, when there is an emergency in Perry Township that requires immediate medical care, members of PTVFD will be responding along with SEOEMS to deliver life-saving care. Several of our members have trained and tested to receive nationally accredited certifications at the First Responder, EMT-Basic, and EMT-Intermediate levels. Next time SEOEMS is dispatched to a serious emergency in Perry Township, in which seconds and minutes count, we will be dispatched as well, in hopes that we will be able to add hope to the victims and their families.
